Last year we announced a merger between So Energy and ESB Energy

We want to let you know that we have changed the name of our Electricity and Gas Supply company to ‘So Energy’ as a result of us buying the majority ownership of that company.  

Don’t worry, we promise to bring ESB Energy’s values and heritage - that you’ve come to know and trust - with us.   

Our aim is to become the UK’s next big green energy supplier. And this development means that we can invest in new and exciting green solutions, develop new systems, services, and products. So that we can help our residential supply customers make an affordable transition to net zero living. 

We’re here to stay.

To our former Electricity and Gas customers

Not much has changed - your new energy tariff is with So Energy and you will still get great service and 100% renewable electricity as standard.  

Most importantly the prices you pay, how often you pay and what tariff you are on will stay exactly the same as what you agreed to in your contract. 

You will also see a new look and feel on our communications and will get access to a new customer portal with some great new features.  

 

 

To our Electric Vehicles and Business Solutions customers

Our Electric Vehicles and Business Solutions businesses will continue to operate under the ESB Energy brand.

This means that nothing will change for our EV charging customers and Business Solutions customers.
